Hi all I have just launched a new business that makes for healthier places at work, where you stay, live, eat, exercise and entertain. It is a electrostatic disinfection system - a technological breakthrough for Australia, and can assist in decreasing the $33b business cost to Australian business through absenteeism. The market is slow to uptake, as it is an "as well as" service, not an "instead of". Any ideas would be much appreciated.
I'm starting up a sole proprietor education type small business. I have my business plan but am struggling with preparing the document that I want to present to the prospective client. Have received two different advices which are very different to each other. Is there some sort of template available. How do I proceed?
what are the basics or key points that one needs to have or see in a possible investment; or which boxes need to be ticked to achieve future rapid growth of a possible investment ? (ACROSS the investment board , in any field ?...)

Hi guys, I really enjoyed listening to Dee Madigan's videos where she explains a bit more about branding and how to come up with a name. I've been really struggling with my brand name. I've invented a new way to read webpages and eBooks on the train/while travelling (so that you don't have to wreck your neck looking down at your phone). It uses a VR headset and you use head movements/gestures to play/pause/rewind auto-scrolling text. There is currently no product like this - which means I have no competition... but also if people don't even know that this product exists... how are they going to find it? Current it is called "Hands Free Reader" (published on the Google Play Store) because you don't have to hold the phone/book while reading anymore and no turning of pages necessary! Most business people I've talked to have said "your name is too descriptive" - you need some catchy name that is trademark-able. Is this really true? What if you are the first to market? I am thinking of "Kentucky Fried Chicken" - as a similar example. Should I rebrand myself as "HFR"? "Hands Free Reader"? I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on how to brand new inventions... rather than for existing businesses like real estate... Because I notice that even when a new product came out "Inline Skates" - they still came up with a cool name "Rollerblades"... Help! I am really paralysed by this choosing of a name... do I stop all advertising now? until I choose a name? do I keep going? Do I just release the product using three different names and just see which one works the best? I'd really appreciate your ideas - I currently have 678 active users... should I just try and send out a survey and see what they think? These were a few ideas I had: ComfortReader HandyReader Fuzzlebubs Hands Free Reader Reado PrivateReader ScrollDude SneakyReader (should it even have the word "Reader" in it?) Thank you! David
We have a Quarter horse Stud we bred and break in our horses. We have been advertising on facebook and magazines. Yes we do need a web page, not sure where to start and what is really required on it. We do have a good name for quiet horses. Our daughters do compete at barrel racing, but we do need to widen into different disciplines. We do have great bloodlines and talented horses. We have been selective on bloodline so we don't past on genetic disease such as herda ( a skin thinning disease.) Keeping trainable horses with good bone and strength so they don't break down in their training . We need help to make it more profitable with out costing a million dollars. The horse industry is a hard industry and i know and you can't help every one but we try . If they have a horse that is easy to get around and enjoy, they will ride more and learn more.
