Mark Bouris spoke with the Today Show regarding the recent government announcements on the Coronavirus pandemic. The Federal Government updated their stimulus package which could be a lifeline to keep struggling businesses open.
Mark told the Today Show: ‘It’s a pretty good deal in terms of funding – you wish you’d been able to get that a year ago’
He said the loans in effect paid the income tax of each employee, allowing businesses to cut expenses and reduce catastrophic job losses.
‘The government is saying please don’t fire everyone’
‘We’ve all got to show initiative – the government in how to rescue this country and make us feel safe…
‘Those who run businesses must start to intellectualise how we can survive this.’
