Mine is a start-up company in the drone and UAV industry. We are 3 partners who have to support the company through our day jobs. Don't want to sound ironic but our business is where the passion is. But we have to keep our jobs to support the business. We have invested about $100k in 14 months of existence. We have spent on capex & marketing. Revenue has been pretty low and we are pondering on how the competition is thriving whilst we are trying our hardest. Need a mentor to put things in correct and unbiased perspective. Need to go the right way.
How do I go from being a business operator to being a business owner in a personal service type business model?
I started my business, Vector Health and Performance in 2010 as a strength and conditioning coach aiming to provide a better level of service and support to regional athletes and people. Since this time it has grown into a 650K Business and I have a number of great staff. I have worked really hard with what is now I believe a great team and they need me to lead them into the next level. I have really connected with the vision presented in books like the E-Myth about how a technician builds his business from the ground up, and I guess this is what I have done. What are some suggestions to transfer my role in the business from being in the trenches, to being a true business leader and leading my people to better opportunities?
Hi guys Thank you for your time. The last year has seen my company spiraling into from being in the black to being in the red majorly. I cant put my finger on what is going on. We pit our prices up last year by only $5:00 so our average price now starts at just $25:00 which will get you home safely up to 7.5 k and then by $5:00 increments. I am literally at my wits end, we have done i believe everything right but just cant seem to get myself out of almost clasiming financial hardship. Please help any advice would be greatly appreciated and would like to invite you one night with us on a busy evening to see what we do. Thank you Regards Rob Braddock 0490 140 572
I have been in business since 1990 and through ANZ bank have an overdraft for around $145,000. This is pretty much max out sitting around $125,000 and credit cards at $30,000. Trying to start this new business Zoom Zoom Gold Coast and have had training through NEIS program, but now need to change business model but need cash or loans. My original business is senior civil designer that I still do and main source of income. Would really like some help but feel maybe too late, over committed or too old.
We've had the business for close to 8 years now and in that time from my point of view I don't think it has grown anywhere near enough. I feel like we should be growing more and getting bigger. There seems to be this barrier that I am finding very difficult to overcome and I believe it is to do with marketing. What are some marketing strategies? How do you do good marketing? I have always found marketing the hardest thing to do. I have ran plenty of Facebook and Google Ads with very specific targeting to our target market but I'm not getting the results I want.
I have an enormous passion and knowledge of my business and the products i have on offer. I have attempted to run programs to generate business but had not interest at all. I don't have much money to input to advertising as i am a single mum currently on parenting payment but i so want to change this situation for me and my children I have applied for other jobs to help cover my business costs but due to school and kinder hours I am not having any success in gaining employment. I did a diploma and a certificate to help me get into this line of work but found that I'm still not qualified enough for employment so this is why i want to go out on my own and fill the neich in the mental health area. I have so much life experience and a real understanding and i just want to get myself out there and start helping people. Please any advice at all will be taken on board and so appreciated. Regards ANNALISE
There is a serious shortage of accommodation for the homeless. There are many young people including young refugees in need of training to be able to earn a living for their future. I would like to start a social enterprise where we train these young Australians by teaching them building trades while building small houses in some of the thousands of shipping containers lying idle around the country. As an architect, I know how to create the conversion (having done one already) and I can find the trainer builders. How do I get funding to get the enterprise going until it becomes self funding?
I am currently working as a Support Worker for people with disabilities. I recently completed a Bachelor Degree in Counselling. Ideally I'd like to run a counselling practice where people can overcome problems like anxiety depression and behaviour change that lasts a bit longer than 6 weeks. I feel like I can't compete against psychologists who have a medicare provider number. I'm doing a postgraduate in psychology with the hope to get a provider number. I'd still have to do another three years of study. I'm 53. I've seen other counsellors do well without a provider number. My house isn't good enough for clients to have here for counselling sessions. I have had one counselling client since November he is doing very well now and contacts me once a month to check in. He isn't paying. My job that kind of pays the bills is only casual and I earn about $700 -$900 a week. My morgage is $310 a week my bills are around $250 a week. Not including food. I feel like I'm stuck chasing my tail. I feel like I need help to work on my counselling practice as a business not just an idea.
I’m a small landscaping and garden maintenance company with roughly 65 regular clients consisting of both residential clients and commercial clients. Roughly about 90% of my clients pay cash which in turn hard to keep bank records of cash flow. My work schedule and invoice books shows how much I earn buy all the lenders want bank statements to show my income
